Perspective

It’s all perspective. I learned very early on, especially being a six-year-old diabetic, that I was never going to completely fit in, so I immediately chose to stand up, stand out, rock on and remain unbroken. I knew I’d have to give 100% and only gain 50% and, although I would have to work harder, I accepted that. I surrounded myself with great family & friends who remain loyal to this day. I looked at the adversity in my life, sometimes as a blessing rather than a curse and, if they say facing challenges builds character, then I am one hell of a character lol…Stand strong, rock on and remain unbroken, my friends!!!
