San Diego Seals Game Recap!

Last night, Bret Michaels traveled to San Diego to support his oldest daughter and Seals & ESPN+ sideline reporter, Raine Michaels, for the season opener of the San Diego Seals who scored a win against the Calgary Roughnecks. The atmosphere of the slam-packed arena was like a Bret Michaels Parti-Gras Mardi Gras concert with nothing but a good time kicking off as Bret rang the siren and the DJ rocked the house. Then, to Bret’s surprise, his Number 1 hit “Every Rose Has Its Thorn” was chosen as the Pechanga Arena fan-favorite karaoke singalong to create an impromptu history-making moment where NFL quarterback Drew Brees joined Bret and the Seals fanbase to belt it out.

Michaels states, “Not only is Drew Brees an incredible quarterback and athlete but, more importantly, a great father and one of the coolest people I’ve ever met. Simply put, Drew Brees rocks.”  Michaels continues, “But most important, as a father, the family and I could not be prouder to support Raine as a hard-working and dedicated sideline reporter, along with Melissa Mae and the booth commentators Cooper Perkins & Nick Ossello, for the opening game of the season. The Seals fanbase was wild & rowdy and the party & big win were awesome. Congratulations to the San Diego Seals on their hard-fought victory.”
