Bret Michaels Fulfills Dream Of Military Child, Donates Tickets To One Direction San Antonio Concert

On Sunday September 21, 2014 global entrepreneur, philanthropist and musician Bret Michaels fulfilled the dream of a military child Jasmine Wilder when she attended the One Direction concert in San Antonio, Texas. Michaels, who earlier this year served as keynote speaker with the Joint Chiefs Of Staff at Operation Homefront’s Military Child Of The Year honor, is personally donating a pair of tickets to this military family.

Jasmine’s father Michael served in the marines for 30 years and is a combat veteran. He is 100% with severe PTSD and injuries to include having to have his shoulder replaced. Michael Wilder is a single father with his daughter and only child, 12 year old Jasmine. Bret is a huge supporter of the men and women of our nation’s armed forces, recently presenting mortgage free homes to select military families through his Life Rocks Foundation and is proud to be able to fulfill Jasmine’s dream of seeing One Direction in concert this past Sunday.

“She really enjoyed herself. This was her first ever concert because she spent most of her life growing
up in Japan where I was station for 6 years before I retired. Thanks again Bret for all that you do.” said Jasmine’s father Michael Wilder – MGySgt USMC (Retired)

Bret, who comes from a military family, whose relatives both fought and died overseas states “It is not only important that we take care of them while overseas, but especially when they come home to help them reestablish themselves in the very country they fought for.”

Operation Homefront is very proud to partner with Bret Michaels as he continues to support our wounded service members,” said Dino Sarracino, Vice President of Programs for Operation Homefront. “Bret’s continued support for Operation Homefront and it’s many programs help us support our military families and veterans through generous donations from the American people.”
