Rock Star Bret Michaels’ Charity Chosen for the 62 Annual California RV Show

POMONA, California, October 15, 2014 –Life Rocks Foundation, started by musician, RV enthusiast and reality TV star Bret Michaels, will be the charity of choice for the 62nd annual California RV Show to be held at the Fairplex in Pomona, Calif. from Oct. 10 through Oct 19.

The show’s sponsor, the Recreation Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA), selected Life Rocks because of Michaels’ dedication to helping those with diabetes and other illnesses. Michaels is a life-long diabetic and has become an inspiration to children and adults who suffer from the disease. The RVIA will donate one day’s gate proceeds to the charity.

The charity supports a variety of other organizations that range from childhood cancer to military support and pet charities.

Michaels will be attending this year’s show on Saturday, Oct. 18 to meet and greet fans and sign autographs. In addition, a silent auction for several of his items, such as bandanas and albums, will be autographed by him and the proceeds will benefit the Foundation. The auction begins Oct. 10 and ends at the close of the show on Oct. 19. Items will be shipped to the highest bidders if they are not present.
