The 2026 NFL Draft is Coming to Pittsburgh, Home Town of Bret Michaels, And Rumors Are Heating Up!

Hot on the heels of the announcement that the NFL 2026 draft will be held in Pittsburgh, the hometown of Bret Michaels, rumors are already started flying…Will he be part of the face of the Steel City, like Eminem was for Detroit?

Bret, the son of a veteran who comes from a family of steel workers, grew up in the steel town of Butler, Pennsylvania, and the Steeler stadium was the first stadium to play his hit single Nothing But a Good Time. Michaels recently returned to the Pittsburgh stadium and Star Lake Pavilion during his kick off to Parti-Gras.  Bret has his Steelers Les Paul in the Hard Rock – his custom guitar there is one of only two in the world. He brought all the veterans onto the field on Monday Night Football with Rocky Bleier and kicked off the playoffs with his daughters Raine and Jorja in a terrible towel ceremony.

“As an NFL football fanatic and overall sports enthusiast, I am beyond excited about the NFL draft in 2026 held in Pittsburgh and, no matter what, will be there to cheer on the incredible family, friends & fans and would be honored not only to perform, but to be able to walk to the podium perhaps with my friend Rocky Bleier and announce the Steelers’ first round selection,” stated Michaels.

In the meantime, Bret will see you all this summer at the Star Lake Pavilion amphitheater for Parti-Gras with special guests Dee Snyder of Twisted Sister and Lou Gramm of Foreigner as well as Chris Janson, the country sensation with his new number one song, and, of course, the incredible Don Felder formerly of the Eagles, and producing the song intro for Bret’s show is Mason Tomlin, Steelers Head Coach Mike Tomlin and wife Kiya Winston’s son.
